This program connects on its own to WWW and FTP addresses (defined by the user) in order to check for updates. It will notify you if and when changes are detected and different actions are possible depending on your chosen settings : Automatically open the web page in your browser, download the file to your computer (requires a download manager) for off-line usage, send a message to your e-mail address or an SMS to your mobile phone (requires email to SMS gate) etc..
