System backup and restoration
This program will work only with Windows 98, although there is also a version for Windows 95 on this site. It comprises a set of utilities for back ups, restoring system files, fixing crashes and creating a bootup disk.Files to be backed up are indicated by checking boxes. They are then compressed (if necessary) and stored. If a problem occurs the files can be restored and the machine re-booted. There is an assistant Wizard feature for both back up and restoring processes. WinRescue will back up to harddrive, diskette, CD, DVD, DDCD, Zip Drive, Network Drive, and any device that can be copied to in Windows Explorer.
