This is a computer software based professional digital sound sampler. It digitizes sounds (converts sound waves in to digital) for use either directly with the program and/or other more complex sound programs. On top of the features you would expect from a sampler, Unity DS-1 proposes different modules to transform sound samples : There is an arpeggiator with multiple latch and assignment modes which can be synchronized to MIDI clock, a utility to change the tempo without changing the pitch, etc..
