Planet of the Apes screensaver is a playable screensaver and will work alone or can be used by a player. The mouse is used to wake from sleep mode and play. You choose your Planet of the Apes character and control it using the arrow keys and space bar.
The aim of the game is to avoid the rolling barrels and get to the top. Once at the top you must jump across to grab the swinging rope! By pulling the rope you’ll raise the cage and release the person who’s captured! You score points for jumping barrels and a big bonus for successfully raising the cage. The quicker you get to the top and pull the rope the more points you get!
