This program supports a variety of protocols which enable the Mac client to communicate with other machines over a local or distant network or over the internet . It can emulate a terminal, pilot a modem terminal-to-terminal or work on an established TCP/IP connexion via an access provider.
It supports PPP, Telnet (a TCP/IP utility for connecting computers of the same kind in terminal mode), Xmodem, Ymodem et Zmodem protocols (download protocols which resume downloading in the event of interruption) and emulates terminals including VT-102, VT-52, SCO-ANSI, BBS, Mainframe, etc.
