This program will prepare and configure your Mac when using Connectix’s PC emulation software, VirtualPC. VirtualPC enables a Mac to act as a PC and use the Windows operating system to run Windows programs on a Mac. In order to optimize performance, there are many system parameters that must be correctly set. VPC Helper is a utility for automating these different settings and will (amongst other things) exit the Finder and any other softs running in the background. It allows you to choose an alternative hard disk when launching VirtualPC and will also restore the original parameters when you have finished with VirtualPC.
