The file format .ogg is an audio format alternative that features sound quality that is generally higher than MP3, no licensing fees and what’s more, the compressed file take up less disk space. The .ogg format will also allow the coding to be varied with the music (minimal coding for silences and up to 128kbs for the most dynamic sequences). This free program will create .Ogg files using simple drag and drop (hence the name Ogg drop). It will encode AIFF or AIFC files and allows you to select the transfer rate (bitrate).
