The Windows 7 feature Snap, which gives automatically adjusts a window to full or half of the size of the screen when it is dragged to the top or side of the desktop, is now available to Mac users thanks to Andreas Haloi and his BetterTouchTool (BTT for short).

The program lets users adjust the settings for the size of the window. It also adds customiseable gesture control to MacBooks with multi-touch trackpads or Mac users with Magic Mouse.

The took has not yet reached version 1.0, and therefore technically it is still in beta. However, in testing BTT worked reliably on different Macs.
