Codex is a Cocoa (MacOSX native) software that allows you to compute checksums, archive, encrypt, shred, burn and create disk images with sets of files and folders.
Codex features:
Checksums: ADLER, CRCs, GOST, MD2, MD4, MD5, MDC2, RIPEMD, SHAs, HAVALs, TIGER, WHIRLPOOL.
HMAC-Checksums: MD2, MD4, MD5, MDC2, RIPEMD, SHA, SHA1.
Archiving: Data, resources and original attributes.
Encryption: AES, BLOWFISH, CAST, DES, RC2, RC4 and RC5 in multiple cipher modes.
Compression: gzip.
Secure deletion: nulti-override and deletion (multi-shredding).
Burn: Standard MacOSX burn and erase media features.
Disk images: Common types (compressed (fast and strong), read only, read and write, master CD/DVD), built-in encryption and auto-copy/cleanup (internet-enabled) options.
