Thonk will produce hundreds of diverse sound effects.
It is an extremely simple to use Freeware Macintosh application and uses Granular Synthesis to produce very varied sounds based upon a sound file provided by the user. However, the user has NO CONTROL WHATSOEVER over the sound production process.
Thonk runs in the background, taking several hours to produce the new sounds.
Supports only 16-bit, AIFF, monophonic files.
