A vocabulary program for revising foreign languages.
This program manages a data base of foreign vocabulary , created by the student for revision purposes. Each word or phrase entered has its own card containing the definition, the translation, a note about use of the word in a certain book or text and technical notes (eg.whether the word is masculin or feminin, conjugations etc…). The program will then quizz the student, asking for a translation or a definition either in the order that the cards were entered in, or in a random order. The progress that the student makes is taken into account and the words/phrases that the student has the most difficulty with are asked the most frequently. The database can be printed and the program also exists for Windows under the name “Alpha”.
