Hardware Sensors Monitor is a monitoring tool for motherboards that have various sensors (CPU and board fan state, voltage, temperature and speed). If the temperature of the CPU or motherboard exceeds a configured value, an alarm is issued.
When the system is idle, a software-side cooling latches, also the CPU itself can be throttled. All data is stored in a log file for later evaluation.
Setting the nominal and limits for voltage parameters allows the tool to immediately start functioning to prevent system instability. The software watches over the computer in a resource-friendly way and sits in the system tray.
