VirtualDub is a video capture/processing utility for 32-bit Windows. It lacks the editing power of a general-purpose editor, but is streamlined for fast linear operations over video. It has batch-processing capabilities for processing large numbers of files and can be extended with third-party video filters. VirtualDub is mainly geared toward processing AVI files, although it can read (not write) MPEG-1 and also handle sets of BMP images. The software has the following functions: – Access optimized to the disc for an optimal use of the hard disc. – Creates AVI2 files (OpenDML) in order to pass the 2Go AVI file limitation. It can also create several files so as to not be limited by the 4Go FAT32 filing system. Volume measurement and histogram integrated for monitoring the levels of entries. – Resizing and reduction of noise in a real time. Observation of levels of compression, of the CPU and of the space available on the hard disk.. Access to hidden video formats that your card could support but which you can not get, such as the 352×480 format . etc. Microsoft Windows 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, Vista, Server.
