AppDisk is a sophisticated RamDisk program.
This Ramdisk program lets you use extra ram as a super fast hard disk. The advantage of AppDisk over many other ramdisks is that it can be mounted and unmounted without restarting your Mac, so it is easy to change the size and have different ramdisks with different sets of documents on them (although only one copy can be run at a time). AppDisk 1.7.4 has been tested to work with Mac OS 8.6 and works with all versions of Mac OS, 7.0 and up. Appdisk is not compatible with Mac OS X.
