Camfrog is a video chat software program and community. Users can browse both user-hosted and Camfrog-hosted video chat rooms, as well as engage in private instant messaging. Video chat rooms include language oriented rooms (including many sign language rooms), rooms for singles and rooms aimed at users from specific countries. It requires registration and a unique username to log on. The website features a user directory with user profiles.

Chat Camfrog client includes the ability to access Camfrog hosted and user hosted video chat rooms. Users have the ability to create their own rooms with different themes. User rooms have different rules than Camfrog hosted rooms but must still follow the basic Camfrog Terms of Service.
File Sharing Users may send files to each other via Camfrog with a max file size of 100 Megabytes

Profiles Camfrog features profile pages for users age 16 and over. Users 13-15 cannot create profile photos.
Camfrog Mobile Camfrog is also available for Windows Mobile and the Apple iPhone. The Camfrog Windows Mobile application allows Camfrog users to IM and have one-on-one audio calls. The Camfrog iPhone application allows Camfrog users to IM, have one-on-one audio calls, and chat in chat rooms via text and on microphone.
Terms of Service Camfrog has a set of rules that are enforced by Camfrog staff and user volunteers. Users are monitored in chat rooms by operators. Operators are often users who show interest in volunteering to monitor and enforce room rules. Operators must be 18 years of age.
