TagCheck will look at the code in your HTML page and check it for common errors including badly spelt tags names (such as

and not ), use of attributes which are not appropriate for the particular tag (e.g. using BGCOLOR in a tag), mistakes in hexadecimal code when specifying colours (#AAG000 for example), forgetting a closing tag where it is necessary to have one, nesting tags in the wrong order, omitting the final angle bracket of a tag,
placing text in the wrong place (eg between the and the section of a page), fogetting to close quotation marks etc.
TagCheck will also give suggestions for improving the HTML code.
