These POV Tools are “asc2tga” and “smooth”. Asc2tga converts an elevation matrix stored as an ASCII matrix file into a POV readable heightfield in TGA format. This heightfield can be magnified using bicubic interpolation. This ensures you get a smooth surface and you don’t have to use POV’s “smooth” option.
